Exploring solo? No thanks!

Exploring solo? No thanks!

I’m going to be frank. I am not one to enjoy solo travel but I do absolutely love exploring new places! It’s just so hard to organise these getaways with another explorer, whether it’s a girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, sister, mother, aunty or niece! People are just so busy! Holiday Schedules can be difficult to synchronise and sometimes it feels that the only way to explore and discover new places is to travel alone.

But heck no! It’s not just that I am a big chicken when I think about travelling alone, it’s mostly about me wanting to have the camaraderie of a good travel partner to share the excitement that bursts out of me when I see incredible scenery or I smell the terpenes that ooze out of the trees on those forest walks. Being able to share those “ooh ahh” moments is worth it to make travelling a joint adventure.

Loneliness is not a fun feeling when I discover very special and unique places. Maybe it’s my introverted self that makes me so self conscious about entering a top winery alone while I’m trying my hardest to smile and pretend I just love my own company! Which actually I do; at the right place and the right time, like when I am at home!

Kindred Women Retreats has a holiday tour package for women who are bursting at the seams to explore but who don’t want to explore alone. You can join 10 other like-minded women for 4 nights and 5 days and have an incredible time discovering stunning beaches, visiting top wineries and producers in the region and eating at the best restaurants. You can share those “ooh” and “ahh” moments together and create wonderful friendships that may just last a lifetime and lead to many more adventures together!

So be brave, come and join us!
